When Egue y Seta was asked to design the interiors of a modern apartment in Barcelona, Spain, they made sure that one of the en-suite bathrooms had an eye-catching design.

Located through an open doorway in the bedroom, the bold choice of a bright blue tile in the bathroom created a statement that couldn’t be overlooked.

The starburst patterned tiles cover the walls, while a micro-cement floor has been added, allowing the attention to be on the tiles.

Here’s a closer look at the tiles, which have been installed using a bright white grout to complement the white starburst lines of the hexagonal tiles.

Other design elements include black and gold wall lamps that shine lighting both upwards and downwards, and a round mirror with the frame that has a touch of depth to it.

Rose gold taps and fixtures add a touch of glam to the space, while the concrete countertop complements the floor. Hidden lighting underneath the countertop helps to keep the lower sections of the bathroom bright and highlights the rose gold plumbing and laundry basket.
